I would like to congratulate BoB for another well deserved and convincing win. I am sure UNL will do a lot better next time.

Oh, I got the joke. It was funny the first 10 times it was told, but it's sort of not funny anymore.

I am seriously amazed by the amount of morons shouting "OMGZ BOB PAYD UNL!!", or frankly even speculating about it. It's a sad testament to the route this game has taken during the last year. People are so busy coming up with conspiracy theories about why they are getting beaten that they never stop to think that maybe the other guy's where better. I am not saying UNL does this, as they have posted several times in this thread that BoB played excellent and beat them through superior tactics.
Let's analyze the fight, shall we? Five myrmidons who need to be in close range in order to do anything. They start speeding across the battlefield, sensibly keeping their slow drones in their bays until the ships get close enough to do anything. The first myrmidon goes pop. Now the four remaining myrmidons are still not in range due to being dampened. Perhaps one or two of them are able to get a lock, but it wouldn't be enough to make any difference, so the team captain decides to keep all the drones in the bays untill all of them can attack the same target (remember the BoB logistics ship doing extremely well in keeping their ships alive). Now the second myrmidon goes pop, just as the remaining three gets in range. Que the rook and racial ECMs. We now have three perma-jammed myrmidons, all jammed before dropping their drones, thus preventing auto aggro. We see a myrmidon attempting to gain aggro by releasing, scoping and re-releasing his drones. It doesn't work, and another one of them gets popped. Now it's just a matter of cleaning up the rest for BoB.
I'm not saying this is exactly how it happened, but it is a hell of a lot more plausible than BoB paying UNL to lay down, and definately more plausible than UNL actually AGREEING to lay down for isk.
You tin-foil hatters need to STFU and stop ruining this tournament.
